In the last post, we mentioned that we had been working towards a dateline, which was in the first week when school reopens...

In the first week, we were told that the presentation to the directors and lecturers would be on Friday, and so we did our best to tie up the loose ends and come together to fix up our first prototype.

After connecting up and powering up the robot, we then tested to see if the robot was able to communicate with the ROS on our Fit-PC. Thankfully everything went well for us this week as we were able to present and showcase our project, in hopes of getting into the Engineering Show held next year.

What went down:

• Suggestions were made by the directors and lecturers to improve the design of the robot.

• They would like to see a fully working robot in 3 weeks time.

After the review, we felt that there was still more work cut out for us to handle..

Well as our wise parents always instill in us:

Hard work pays off.

We believe that as long as we work hard and do our best at every turn of this project, we will be able to succeed and meet every obstacle that is pushed to us.
