Figure 1 - Cadd drawing of the new robot.
Welcome back to another week of post!
This week, the highlight of the week is we assembled the new robot for the upcoming engineering show. We are not done yet and we are left with a few more pieces to laser cut and mount.
The team also worked on the navigation portion as well as the URDF, the Unified Robot Description Format of the robot.

Figure 2 - URDF of Robot
The URDF is used to defined the robot model in the virtual world, As seen in the picture above, the different parts of the robot is separated and each defined. This helps to simulate the robot position in the virtual map and for troubleshooting.

Figure 3 - Map of Testing Arena
This was a fruitful week indeed, we managed to map out the testing arena we used and tune the variables of the navigation package.
Just like Mr Donald Trump, who was just recently won the Presidential Election, we want to work hard and do our best to go all the way to the top, of course with our never say never spirit and without offending anyone. *fingers crossed*
