This is the Season to be Jolly!

Merry Christmas everyone! We hope that everyone had a good and jolly christmas!

This week, the team experimented around with sonar sensors, so as to detect glass in the office environment.

As the laser sensor we have, is unable to detect glass, ultrasonic sensors are able to detect glass by sending out a high-frequency sound pulse and then calculate the distance by multiplying the time taken for the echo of the sound to reflect back.

Besides that, we also managed to get the state machine of our robot working, moving from one location to another and then back to the starting location. What a way to celebrate the weekends
